About Hatha Yoga

Hatha Yoga is the ancient system of creating balance between the body and

mind in order to find harmonious peace and well -being. Our classes at Glendale

yoga honor the Hatha tradition by combining physical postures or (asanas) to

strengthen the body, relaxation techniques or (pratyahara) to draw the senses

inward, and conscious yogic breathing or (pranayama) to improve concentration

and respiration.
